Just a short walk to the CBD and only one minute to the beach, our famous art deco baths and the dog friendly Horseshoe Beach.

Situated on the Newcastle peninsula 'between the beach and the harbour' with everything you could want for just a stroll away.

Everything that was there was beautiful and in working order. I absolutely loved our stay. Great lighting for reading. One bedside lamp flickered. So we exchanged it with one from the other room. The only thing I missed was a few hooks in the bathroom and maybe some hanging space in the bedroom, even if it was on the enclosed verandah. Thanks for having us

After reading other customer reviews about the property I was a little worried about the heating, stairs and cleanliness (being pet friendly) but it was perfect! Great instructions on how to light the fire were given by text. I felt very safe and comfortable (solo visitor) and by Monday did not want to leave! Thank you

A beautiful short stay apartment, and very close to some great eateries. The only down-side was that because of the cold snap we were very cold :(. The heating would have been adequate if not so cold outside!

Everything very nice comfy perfect stop close to the beach, station, shopping just a little bit too cold for us in the winter No heater in both rooms

Everything about the property is wonderful including the area. A toilet upstairs would be convenient. More bench space in the bathroom area for toiletries would be great, especially when you're a party of four, though I don't know how you could achieve that. Perhaps a blind or curtain hung on the door dividing the bathroom from the kitchen as you can see through the glass when the bathroom is in use. That was ok though as we hung a towel over the door. Standing over the toilet to use the mirrors isn't pleasant. An outdoor table and chairs would be perfect for the outdoor space for reading, relaxing or enjoying the BBQ provided. Everything about checking in is easy. Would we stay again? Absolutely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed being so close to the pool and restaurants and it was a lovely, quiet spot. For some people the drawback could be the very steep narrow stairs which is why I couldn't necessarily recommend it to everyone! Otherwise a lovely place to stay. A couple of suggestions for improvements would be a place to hang clothes plus a couple of chairs and a small table for the courtyard at the back. I also think the bannister could be longer and higher to avoid accidents. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you could wish for although we didn't cook! Easy walk to town and fabulous places to eat. Thank you.

  • This property is in a great location, close to beaches and cafes. It is a lovely apartment, well set out.
  • The only issue we had was it was rather cold, the heating didn't work well.

The only recommendation would be a better heater fro winter. The gas heater didn't warm the area.

  • The location was great, with easy walking access to beaches, some restaurants and a small supermarket. The welcoming light for our arrival was really appreciated and the bed and bowls for our dogs was a lovely touch. There was a prompt reply to any queries we had, and the 'Points of Interest' on the On Line Guest Guide was really useful. All in all, a beautifully decorated inner city terrace house.
  • Street parking was a little difficult to find at times. The stairs within the house were quite steep and would not be suitable for anyone with any mobility issues.
