Sandbar Townhouse is a spacious two-storey 3 bedroom townhouse with direct access to Newcastle Beach through a private courtyard. The generous open-plan living space is tastefully furnished to ensure you a comfortable stay.

The property provides a pool, tennis court and BBQ facilities, providing a resort experience perfect for a family holiday, a get-together with friends, or for conference/corporate guests who prefer space & privacy.

The location provides easy access to many pubs, bars and restaurants of the Newcastle East precint. The historic Fort Scratchley, Nobbys Lighthouse, Pacific Park and Foreshore Park are all within easy walking distance.

The Main Bedroom of Sandbar Apartment provides ocean views over Newcastle Beach.

Sandbar comfortably sleeps 6 guests with a king size bed in the main bedroom, a queen sized bed in the second bedroom and a king size bed in the third bedroom. The third bedroom can optionally be configured with two single size beds if required.

The townhouse is provided with ceiling fans and electric heating for your comfort.

The kitchen provides all the modern conveniences for your stay, including a dish washer, stove, microwave and full size fridge.

A fully equipped laundry, with top load washing machine and dryer, and a second toilet is also provided.

Thank you we had a very special stay in your apartments, we were there on stressful business and lovely to come home to a comfortable place and great location. Driving from Gunnedah it is a bit of a nuisance having to collect the key Your apartment is so special that you don't have to dash out and buy essentials, these extras found in the apartment are appreciated and one does not expect. They are a great touch.

The apartment was very comfortable however there were a few things lacking that could make it even more comfortable. The mirrored doors in the main bedroom kept coming off the tracks and were very sticky to move. There could be more coat hangers made available in the closets and ones that could be removed from the rods as they were extremely difficult to get to as the closet doors could not be opened wide. The lighting in the bathroom and kitchen was way to dim and the lighting in the living areas was way to bright! The single flush in the toilet upstairs was broken. Iíve stayed in a lot of serviced apartments and they usually supply tissues and the first nights supply of shampoos etc, and at least a few replacement garbage bags (as there was none). We also had trouble finding the lighting for the bbq area. The location however was absolutely fantastic and we had a great time. These are just a few things we found that didnít necessarily hamper our stay but would have made it a bit more comfortable and convenient.

Apartment is in need of renovation (Stephen informed is it is planned for the coming months). Need new lounge ( major spring in your back!) and bedroom blinds. A general paint job. Otherwise it is amazing. Perfect spot for families. Great dealing with you gentlemen! Thanks so much. Weí Be back again next year!

Fantastic location for families with small children.

Location and layout of unit is excellent. However fitout and cleanliness is not of same standard. No external doors shut easily, all requiring frequent shoving / jiggling every time. Block out blinds would be a massive improvement to the 2 beach facing bedrooms. Ceiling fan in king bedroom is very noisy, very hard to turn off / on as remote appears to be broken (& fan is also filthy). The bathrooms were all a little grimy in places.

  • The bed that I slept in was excellent
  • The overall maintainance of the unit could have been better but the carpet particularly on the stairs was absolutely filthy Iím partially disabled and had to put my hands on the carpet occasionally to negotiate the stairs and it wasnít a good feeling
